I've been dealing with this persistent dry cough and throat irritation for the past four years, mostly due to seasonal allergies, but this year it's been different. The cough just isn't going away. It's like there's something stuck in my throat, making me cough non-stop for a couple of minutes until it clears up a bit. It happens every once in a while, but thankfully, there's no breathlessness. I've tried antibiotics, anti-allergics, antacids, and loads of other stuff, but nothing seems to truly help. What could be causing this, and is there something else I should try to get some relief?

View allI'm wondering if Duolin helps clear mucus from my airways. If so, where does the mucus go once it's cleared? Does it pass out through feces or does it just dry up in the airways?
Yes it helps in clearing the mucus, Usually it comes out with cough or gets dried up there.

I'm really worried about my husband. He's been diagnosed with acute bronchitis, but he's still running a fever after four days of taking the prescribed medication. The doctor gave him Acebrophyline, acetylcysteine, Cefixime, montelukast, levocetrizine, and paracetamol. I'm confused though, is acute bronchitis usually caused by a virus or bacteria? Could there be an issue with these medicines not working, or should we be concerned about something else?
medicine which is given is sufficient , give paracetamol 650 mg three times in a day

I'm trying to understand the details of my recent report. It mentions my heart size is normal, my lungs show prominent broncho vascular markings, and both domes and costophrenic angles are clear. Can you explain what this all means and if theres anything I should be concerned about?
means normal report..but has to be clinically correlated..
