I've been dealing with some pretty bad acne and breakouts on my face, shoulders, and back since I had chickenpox about three years ago. Before that, I never really had any issues with acne, so I'm super frustrated. I went to a bunch of doctors and tried different creams and tablets, but nothing seems to work. It's been a few years now, and every time one breakout heals, another one pops up. Could this be connected to the way the chickenpox was treated back then, or is there something else going on? I'm really worried because my face is a mess right now and I'm not sure what else to do. Any advice or solutions for dealing with acne after chickenpox?

I've been using a clindamycin gel and isotretinoin tablet for my acne and scars for about 12 days now, but my skin seems to be getting oilier and I'm not seeing much improvement. In fact, I feel like my acne is more noticeable. Do you think I should stop using them, or is this normal and I should give it more time?

Concerns about Clindamycin gel and Isotretinoin tablet. _Possible Reasons for Oily Skin and Lack of Improvement:_ 1. _Initial breakout_: Isotretinoin can cause an initial flare-up of acne. 2. _Hormonal adjustments_: Isotretinoin can affect hormone levels, leading to increased oil production. 3. _Clindamycin gel_: Can cause skin dryness, but in some cases, may increase oil production. _Recommended Next Steps:_ 1. _Consult your dermatologist_: Discuss your concerns and the lack of improvement. 2. _Do not stop medication abruptly_: Consult your dermatologist before stopping or adjusting treatment. 3. _Consider adjustments to treatment_: Your dermatologist may adjust the dosage or recommend additional treatments to control oil production and acne. _Maintain Good Skincare Habits:_ 1. _Use non-comedogenic products_: Avoid products that clog pores. 2. _Keep your skin clean_: Gently wash your face twice a day. 3. _Avoid picking or popping pimples_: This can lead to further inflammation and scarring.

I've got a question about hair removal in sensitive areas like the genitals, testicles, and butt. Is it safe to use hair removal cream in those places for men? Can you recommend a good product that works well? I'm just a bit worried about any potential side effects or irritation.

To remove hair from the genital, testicle, and butt area using hair removal cream for men, I recommend using Veet Men Hair Removal Cream. Apply a thick, even layer of the cream on the desired areas, avoiding contact with the genitals. Leave it on for the recommended time (usually 5-10 minutes), then gently wipe off the cream and hair with a damp cloth. Make sure to do a patch test before using it on sensitive areas to avoid any adverse reactions.

I'm really worried because since last night the glans of my penis has become swollen, and now the foreskin can't cover it. It's like the swollen part is sticking out past the foreskin. The sensitivity is intense and it's painful whenever I touch it. How long should I expect this swelling to last?

Surgeon opinion.
