I've been dealing with this stubborn fungal infection for almost 45 months now. It's between my legs near the private area and on my buttocks. Initially, it started as red patches but then turned white. My friend, who's a doctor, suggested I try IT Mac 100 tablets and ketonate cream. After sticking to this treatment for 15 days, though, the itchiness is just as bad as before. It's driving me crazy and is super annoying. Can you recommend something more effective?

Consider consulting a dermatologist for personalized advice, but based on your symptoms, a suitable treatment might include oral antifungals like Fluconazole (150mg once a week for 2-4 weeks) or Itraconazole (100mg twice a day for 2-4 weeks), combined with topical antifungals like Clotrimazole or Miconazole cream, and practicing good hygiene

I've had white patches on my skin for about 10 years now and they're stable, not spreading. Thinking about getting surgery to treat them but worried if it'll leave scars on my face or the treated areas. Should I go for surgery or stick with medicines for better results?
