I've been dealing with these sores on my butt for a couple of months now, and they're really bothering me. They just won't heal or disappear, and when I mess with them, they get scabby and even bleed sometimes. They're just persistent sores that seem to scab over but never actually go away. What could this be, and how can I get rid of them?

- Pressure sores: Prolonged sitting or pressure on the area can cause sores.
- Skin infections: Bacterial, fungal, or viral infections can cause persistent sores.
- Anal fissures: Small tears in the anal lining can cause painful sores.
- Hemorrhoids: Swollen veins in the rectum can cause painful sores.
What to Do
- See a doctor: Consult a primary care physician, dermatologist, or proctologist for a proper diagnosis.
- Keep the area clean: Gently wash the area with mild soap and lukewarm water.
- Avoid scratching: Scratching can further irritate the sores and lead to infection.
- Apply topical creams: Over-the-counter creams like hydrocortisone or antibiotic ointments may help soothe the sores.

View allI've been free of infections for about four months now, using lulican cream, but I'm still dealing with some really stubborn pigmentation on my inner thighs and other areas. I'm really eager to see these marks gone. What would you recommend to help fade these?

I've noticed these black spots and red patches that have shown up on both sides of my inner thighs. They seem to itch mostly at night when I'm trying to sleep, and there's also this uncomfortable burning sensation. It's starting to worry me a bit. What could be causing this, and should I be concerned?
It sounds like you may be experiencing a fungal infection, such as jock itch. I recommend using an antifungal cream like Clotrimazole 1% cream. Apply a thin layer to the affected areas twice a day for 2-4 weeks. Additionally, you can take an oral antihistamine like Cetirizine 10mg once daily to help with the itching. Make sure to keep the area clean and dry, and wear loose-fitting clothing to help with healing.
