I'm really concerned about my dad. He's been dealing with COPD after smoking for 35 years, but he quit cigarettes three years ago. He also had CAD and underwent CABG three years back. He's on medication for his heart, and all his tests are coming back normal now. For COPD, he used to take Fluticasone, Salmeterol, and Tiotropium Bromide but these days, he's just on Seroflo 250 BD. The issue we're having is with nighttime  as soon as he lies down to sleep, he starts producing sputum and has to cough it up. He doesn't have problems sitting up, and there's no orthopnea or nocturnal apnea, just sputum, so he's been taking Levocetirizine and Montelukast for that. I'm wondering if we should add back TIOVA? Also, is it okay for him to use Monticope daily? And with his substernal hernia, is it still safe for him to do his breathing exercises by lifting the ball? Would really appreciate some guidance.

I'm experiencing shortness of breath and chest tightness. I was previously diagnosed with pneumonia and took medication for it. I recently had a CT scan done and it showed fibrotic strands. Should I be worried about these findings? What does it mean for my recovery and overall lung health? It's making me quite anxious, and I really need some guidance on what steps to take next.

I smoke a little, just about 3 to 4 cigarettes a day, and sometimes I also smoke marijuana. The last time I smoked marijuana, my throat started choking and it hurt a bit. While the pain has stopped, I still feel a bit of chokiness. What could be causing this? Should I be concerned?

I've been dealing with wheezing and a cold since last night. I took azithromycin 500 and a tablet with serratiopeptidase and diclofenac sodium, but now the wheezing has gotten worse. Should I consider taking methylprednisolone to help with the wheezing?

go to near by hospital they will give you injection hydrocortisone or nebulization. never take steriods without a doctor advice
