I've been diagnosed with cholesterosis of the gallbladder and deal with daily acid reflux even after eating normal foods. I also have fatty liver should I be worried about needing gallbladder surgery? What are my options for managing this?

View allI'm curious about ELIXIR NEOGADINERB syrup. Can it actually help boost my appetite? I've been having trouble eating enough lately and I'm wondering if there's anything else you might recommend to help increase my appetite.
Elixir Neogadine-RB syrup is often used to improve appetite and aid digestion. It contains a combination of ingredients that help stimulate hunger. For lack of appetite, you can try this syrup or consult your doctor for other appetite-enhancing options like vitamin B12 or zinc supplements.

I recently got my liver function test results and I'm a bit worried because my SGPT level came back at 49. Is that considered high? Should I be looking into any kind of treatment for this? Also, my SGOT level is 34. Could you help me understand if these numbers are something to be concerned about?
Your SGPT (49) is slightly elevated, as normal levels are typically below 40 UL. SGOT (34) is within the normal range. It's important to discuss this result with your doctor to understand the underlying cause, but mild elevations may not always require treatment. A healthy lifestyle with proper diet and exercise can help maintain liver health.

I'm a bit worried after my recent full body checkup. The results showed I have Hepatomegaly with Grade 2 fatty liver. My doctor gave me some medicines to help treat it. But when I looked online, I found posts saying it's best to stop taking medicines since they can harm the liver. I'm confused about whether to trust the medication or follow the advice I saw online. Any guidance would be really appreciated.
If you are a drinker, stop any and all alcohol consumption immediately. Grade 2 fatty liver is reversible through commonly used medication and lifestyle changes. There are liver protective drugs like UDCA which should be started under the supervision of a specialist.
