I've been diagnosed with sleep apnea but I'm not keen on using a CPAP machine or surgery. Are there other ways to treat it naturally or with lifestyle changes? What options have worked for others?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Yes, besides CPAP and surgery, various lifestyle changes and alternative therapies can help manage sleep apnea. Many people find success with losing weight, practicing positional therapy (sleeping on their side), and using oral appliances.

View allI'm looking at my X-ray report, and I'm pretty concerned. It mentions that the right hilar vascular marking is prominent, and for the cardiac area, it's not clear if it's normal or not. Plus, the CP angles are hazy. I'm really wondering if these findings are normal or if there's something I should be worried about health-wise. Could you help me understand what's going on?

I've been dealing with these choking issues for almost a year now. It's like I get this shortness of breath and try to fix it by coughing on purpose. It ends up in this kind of cough that feels like I'm about to vomit, but I never do, and nothing really comes out. No fever or anything, but I've been taking half a Montek LC tablet at night, and it's not really doing much. What could be going on with me?

I'm really concerned about COPD and was wondering if you could explain it to me. Is it something that can be managed with the right medication, or is it an irreversible condition? Also, are there any lifestyle changes I should consider to help manage COPD? I've heard there might be lab tests available to diagnose itcould you let me know if that's true? And, just curious, is there any connection between high blood pressure and COPD? Looking forward to your advice.
Copd is not curable but proper medication and life style changes can help manage her symptoms, slow disease progression, and improve quality of life
