I've been diagnosed with a slipped disc at L4-L5 and L5-S1, and doctors are recommending surgery. Right now, I'm taking Razo 20, pregabid 75, and decort 6 D3 once daily, and over the past week, I've noticed some improvement the numbness has reduced. I'm hesitant about surgery since I'm getting better with meds. Is it possible to manage this without surgery, or are there other options I should consider?

Slipped disc improving with meds and rest can often be managed without surgery—continue physio and follow-up imaging.

View allI've had a long duro stent for 9 months after surgery, but now doctors say I have stenosis and need open surgery. Is this the only option or are there less invasive alternatives? I'm worried about another major procedure.
If you have urethral stenosis after 9 months with a stent, open urethroplasty is often the definitive option. Less invasive techniques may be available depending on the site and severity, but they’re not always successful long-term.

I've been having spine and vein pain for the last 6 months and the vein seems crushed. The pain in my spinal area is persistent and doctors recommended surgery. What exactly happens during keyhole surgery for a slipped disc do they remove the whole disc or just part of it I'm a bit confused about how much they take out
In keyhole surgery for a slipped disc (also known as microdiscectomy or minimally invasive discectomy), the goal is to remove the damaged or herniated portion of the disc that is pressing on the nerve, not necessarily the entire disc. The surgery uses small incisions and specialized instruments to access the disc and remove the offending tissue.
