I've been experiencing some pain when I chew or eat, and it's been going on for about 56 days now in my right ear. At first, I thought it might have something to do with my teeth, but I can clearly feel it's an ear pain. Can you help me figure out what's causing this or what I should do about it?

View allI've had a preauricular sinus infection for years and even had surgery 15 years ago, but it's come back. I've been dealing with this for so long is there any way to finally get rid of it for good?
Yes, it's possible to potentially eliminate a preauricular sinus infection permanently, even after previous surgery, but it may require further surgical intervention and a thorough approach. The key is to ensure complete removal of the sinus tract and any associated cartilage or tissue remnants, as incomplete removal is a major factor in recurrence.

I heard the nose and ears keep growing throughout life. During my rhinoplasty, the surgeon cut and repositioned the bottom of my nose now the tip bends downward and sticks out more than before. Will it grow back to normal over time, or will it keep drooping further forward? It's been bothering me so much that I've even started washing my nose constantly, like I do with my hands and lips after eating. Another doctor helped restore my breathing and smell any insight on this?
The myth that the nose continues to grow throughout life is false. While the nose can change shape and size due to aging and gravity, these changes are not related to growth. The drooping nose tip after rhinoplasty is more likely due to swelling, cartilage remodeling, or surgical complications, rather than continued growth. If you are experiencing significant discomfort or changes in the nose shape, it's crucial to discuss these with your surgeon or a specialist.
