I've been experiencing these strong vibrations in the middle of my back and sometimes there's pain near both my ears. It's weird because I can feel my heartbeat in my ears, especially when I'm lying on my side. I'm trying to figure out what's going on. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

View allI feel like there's this big lump of mucus that's stuck between my nose and throat, and it's really annoying and making me feel short of breath. I've tried swallowing a bunch of times, but it just won't budge. With everything going on with COVID, I can't really see a doctor in person. Is there anything I can do to make this go away? It's been like this for three days, and I don't have any other symptoms. I'm not sure what's going on. Any ideas?

Is using clove oil safe to treat an ear infection at home? My right ear keeps ringing, and it's really irritating. Sometimes a liquid comes out, and then the ringing stops, but it starts again after a while. This has been happening for a couple of days now. What should I do?
Using clove oil for ear infections at home is not recommended as it can potentially cause irritation and allergic reactions in the ear canal. It is important to consult a healthcare professional for proper evaluation and treatment. In the meantime, you can use over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen and keep the ear dry. If there is discharge from the ear, avoid putting anything inside the ear canal and seek medical attention promptly.

I was diagnosed with an antrochoanal polyp after a CT scan and my doctor recommended surgery. I'm okay with surgery but I'm curious to know if my polyp is considered big or small since I don't have facial pain and only one nostril is 40% blocked while the other is fine. I had a sinus infection about 10 months ago could that be related? Do I really need surgery?
An antrochoanal polyp's size isn't determined by nostril blockage alone. While a 40% blockage is noticeable, it's the polyp's location and extent, as seen in your CT scan, that dictates its size and potential for surgery. Your recent sinus infection could have contributed to the polyp's growth, and while some patients may need surgery, others may respond well to medical treatments. Your doctor's recommendation for surgery suggests a need for complete removal to address your symptoms and prevent recurrence.
