I'm thinking about getting my ear wax removed and I'm a little nervous. What's the normal procedure like? Will it hurt? How long does it usually take? And is there anything I should do to prepare beforehand?

View allI'm feeling a bit worried about some symptoms I've been experiencing, and I could really use your advice. Lately, I've been noticing a pressure in my ears and a popping sound in my eustachian tube whenever I swallow. There's no pain involved, but there's this weird globus sensation in my throat that's painless too. On top of that, my nose feels clogged like it's dripping, and sometimes I get acid reflux. I've already checked for COVID, and the test came back negative, so I'm just curious if all these could be related somehow?

I have a deviated nasal septum and enlarged turbinates along with chronic sinusitis and I've been having constant face pain, headaches, and even eye and joint pain. My ENT recommended surgery but said it might not fix the headaches. Should I still consider the surgery or are there other options I can try first?
septoplasty for DNS is advised to the patient if conservative treatment is ineffective.

I've been having this sore throat type of pain whenever I swallow my saliva. It's weird though because I'm not coughing or anything. But tonight, I noticed there was a bit of blood in my phlegm, just once though, and now I'm kind of freaking out. I'm not showing any other signs of being sick, so I'm not sure what's going on. Any ideas on what this might be?
