I've been feeling a dragging sensation on the left side of my testicle and my color Doppler test showed extra testicular varicocele grade IV. The doctor said surgery is the only option but I'm wondering if there are any other treatments I could try first

While a grade IV varicocele typically warrants surgical intervention, alternative treatments like embolization or sclerotherapy might be considered. However, you should discuss these options with your doctor or a urologist to determine the best course of treatment for your specific case.

View allI'm really worried about my wife. She's been dealing with a urinary infection and her alkaline phosphatase levels are at 250. I'm not sure what treatment options would be best for her. Could you help us figure this out?
Persistent Cough with Blood-Streaked Sputum and Dizziness _Concerns and Recommendations_ 1. _Incomplete treatment_: Azithral (azithromycin) for 5 days might not have fully cleared the infection. 2. _Blood-streaked sputum_: This symptom warrants further investigation to rule out underlying conditions, such as: - Pneumonia - Bronchitis - Pulmonary embolism (less likely, but possible) - Tuberculosis (TB) 3. _Dizziness_: This could be related to the underlying infection, smoking, or other factors. 4. _Smoking_: Your frequent smoking habit may be exacerbating the condition.

I had a fall and ended up hurting the tip of my penis, and now it feels like there might be a cut on the inside. Just wondering what I should do about it. Should I be worried about infection or anything?
-I'm sorry to hear about your injury. It's important to keep the area clean and avoid any irritation. If you're experiencing significant pain, bleeding, or difficulty urinating, please see a doctor promptly for proper evaluation and care.

I had kidney stone surgery before and now there's a 10mm stone again causing occasional pain sometimes it's fine what treatment options do I have this is really urgent
For a 10mm kidney stone that's causing occasional pain, and with a history of previous surgery, treatment options include medical expulsive therapy (MET) with medications to help the stone pass, or a procedure like ureteroscopic lithotripsy (URSL) to break up the stone with a laser. If the pain is severe or the stone is not passing, a more invasive procedure like percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) might be considered
