I've been feeling really unwell since I accidentally inhaled carbon monoxide from the stove while taking steam. I didnt realize that breathing in those fumes could be harmful, so I kept doing it three times a day for about two months. Now Im having symptoms like nausea, chest pain, shortness of breath, and an itchy throat. I'm worried about whether this could lead to any lung diseases or even cancer. Could you please let me know if these symptoms are related and if I should be concerned about any serious health issues?

View allI'm really worried about my mom's recent X-ray results. She's diabetic and had a heart bypass back in 2012. The X-ray mentioned something about fibrosis in both upper lobes, and I've been reading up on fibrosis, especially pulmonary fibrosis. It seems so scary since it's apparently incurable and can be fatal. I really dont want to lose her. Can you tell me more about what this means and what we should do next?
I understand your concern, and it's completely natural to worry. Fibrosis in the lungs can sometimes be related to conditions like diabetes or previous heart surgery, but it doesn't always mean pulmonary fibrosis or anything fatal. It's important to follow up with the doctor who can assess her overall health and guide you on the next steps for treatment and management.

I'm kind of worried because my asthma symptoms have come back after moving to Chennai. I'm experiencing tiredness, shortness of breath, palpitations, and it's really hard to exercise. I was previously on momeflo and Foracort 200 about 5 years ago for a year and it helped keep things in control. Should I consider restarting these medications, or is there something else I should try? What would you suggest?
