I've been on TB medication for 25 days now, and even though I'm feeling better physicallymy weight loss, fever and night sweats have disappearedI just got my sputum smear test results back and it's still 4+ positive. I know it can take a while to turn negative, but I was really hoping it might have gone down to 3 or 2 by now. Is this normal? Should I be concerned that it hasn't improved yet?

View allMy father-in-law just had a chest X-ray today and the report mentioned something about prominent bronchovascular markings in his lung field. Could you help me understand what this means? Is there any chance this could be a sign of something chronic?
it might be due to infection

I caught covid back on April 6th and ended up in the hospital for a couple of weeksspent about 4 days in the ICU with some oxygen support, steroids, and remdesivir. They let me go on April 22nd. But here's the thing, I just went to this lab for an MRI and a CT scan to check for any black fungal infection. There were covid patients around, and one went into the CT scan room right before me. I had to take off my N95 mask for the scan, and now I'm freaking out a bit about possibly getting re-infected. Should I be worried about this?
