I've been feeling like there's something stuck in my throat, like right at the back behind my tongue. It's been there for a while and no matter how much I try to clear my throat, it just won't go away. I'm really starting to get worried about it. What could this be?

View allI'm dealing with some tightness and pain in my throat, and I've heard both azithromycin and cefixime can help. Could you please guide me on which one might be better for a throat infection? I'm really unsure about which option to choose.
Both would work you can use Azithromycin for 3-5 days.

I have a hole in my right middle ear and I'm worried about the complications it might cause. Can it heal naturally with things like steam or other home remedies? How serious is the surgery for this and what's the procedure like? I'd really prefer a natural way to fix it if possible.
A hole in the eardrum (perforated eardrum) can heal on its own, especially if it's small or caused by a recent injury or infection. However, most cases, especially those involving larger holes, require surgical repair. While home remedies like steam or other similar treatments won't heal the hole, they can help manage symptoms and reduce the risk of infection. If the hole doesn't heal on its own or causes significant hearing loss, surgery (tympanoplasty) may be necessary

Had FESS surgery 10 days ago to remove tissues in sinuses and around the eye. Now experiencing nasal congestion, slight swelling above and below the eye but no pain or eyelid involvement, good eye movement and light sensitivity. Also have a cough and pain above the eye when touched. Could these symptoms be related to the surgery?
Yes, it's likely that your symptoms are related to the FESS surgery, specifically due to the inflammation and healing process. The nasal congestion, swelling, and pain are common after FESS. A cough could also be a result of the surgery, as the sinuses and nasal passages are closely connected to the upper respiratory tract. The pain when touched around the eye could be related to the close proximity of the surgical area to the orbit.
