I've been having this burning sensation around the outer part of my anus for about a month now, and it's been incredibly painful, especially when I go to the toilet. I'm really worried about what could be causing this and how to make it stop. What do you think I should do?

Anal Hernia and Anal Sex
Medical Guidance
- Consult your doctor: Discuss your plans for anal sex with your doctor to ensure it's safe.
- Assess hernia severity: Your doctor will evaluate the hernia's size, location, and potential risks.
Potential Risks
- Hernia exacerbation: Anal sex may worsen the hernia or cause further discomfort.
- Pain or discomfort: Despite current lack of pain, anal sex may cause discomfort or pain.
- Infection risk: If the hernia is not properly managed, there's a risk of infection.
Precautions
- Use protection: Always use condoms or other barrier methods to reduce infection risk.
- Communicate with your partner: Inform your partner about your hernia and any discomfort or pain.
- Monitor your body: Stop immediately if you experience pain, discomfort, or worsening symptoms.
Please Note
- Your doctor's advice takes precedence: Follow your doctor's guidance on anal sex with a hernia.
- Prioritize your health: If you experience any concerns or discomfort, stop and consult your doctor.

View allI'm really struggling with some gastric issues that have been ongoing for about two years now. Every time I eat lunch, I experience acidity and gastric problems, and then a few minutes later I get a headache, usually on either the left or right side. I've already gone through an endoscopy and ultrasound, but both reports came back normal. I'm not sure what to do next and would really appreciate some guidance. How should I approach this?

I've been feeling this cramp in my upper left abdomen for a few days now, and I had an ultrasound that didn't show anything wrong. Lately, there's this tingling sensation in my left chest. It doesn't hurt, but it's really annoying and just comes and goes. It's not happening at any set times, but it's still concerning me. As a smoker, should I be worried about this?

I've been dealing with GERD and gas issues for 10 years now and my doctor suggested nissen fundoplication surgery would this surgery actually help me or are there other options I should consider first
Nissen fundoplication can be effective for GERD resistant to meds. Discuss surgical risks, especially gas-bloat syndrome. If meds work well, surgery isn’t urgent.
