I've been having this ganglion cyst on my wrist lately and it's been bothering me. What usually causes these and what are the treatment options? Is it something serious that might need surgery, and if so, how long does recovery usually take? Also, what's the chance of it coming back after treatment? Could you recommend a good specialist for this in Mumbai or nearby areas?

View allI'm 24 and have bow legs what's the estimated cost for surgery, how long does recovery usually take, and what are the success rates like? I'm a bit worried about the whole process and want to understand what to expect.
Surgical correction for bow legs (osteotomy) typically costs between ‚Çπ1.5 to ‚Çπ3 lakhs per leg in India, depending on the hospital and surgeon. Recovery usually takes 3 to 6 months, including physiotherapy. Success rates are high (over 90%) with proper post-op care. Is there any way to reduce my carrying angle from 20 to 15 degrees without surgery? I have it in both hands and was wondering if specific exercises could help or if surgery is the only option to fix it
Yes, it's possible to reduce an excessive carrying angle (cubitus valgus) from 20 to 15 degrees without surgery, and exercises can be helpful. While surgery may be an option in some cases, yoga and physical therapy exercises can be effective in strengthening the muscles and potentially reducing the angle.
