I've been having pain at the base of my second toe for two months and the x-ray shows a cystic expansile lesion there labeled as possible enchondroma. How serious is this and what treatment options do I have? The report mentions it might need critical surgery - how long would recovery take if that's the case?

If your fingers are bending on their own without pain, it could be due to Dupuytren's contracture or trigger finger. Before considering surgery, discuss your concerns with a doctor or specialist to determine the best course of treatment, as non-surgical options are often tried first.
