I've been having some strange breathing issues lately, and it's kind of worrying. It all started last Friday, August 4th, after I ate something that made me sick, and I ended up throwing up. Ever since then, my breathing has felt weird. I feel a bit short of breath, and it seems hard to take a deep breath. I'm feeling really stressed about it. What could be going on? The test you may need is called Pulmonary Function Test (PFT). This test can help evaluate how well your lungs are working and identify any breathing problems. In the meantime, you can use a bronchodilator inhaler like Ventolin (albuterol) as needed for relief. The usual dosage is 1-2 puffs every 4-6 hours as needed for shortness of breath.

I'm a bit concerned about my 58-year-old patient. We recently did a chest X-ray and the film was reviewed, but even though the Covid RTPCR test came back negative, I'm wondering what else might be causing the symptoms. Could there be something specific we should be looking for or considering?
