I've been having this weird issue where there's mucus in my throat at night while I'm trying to sleep. It makes me feel like I need to spit it out constantly, but there's no actual coughing happening. Any idea what could help with this?

It's happened a few times in the same spot, and even though I'm gargling with hot water and taking medicine, its not going away. I can feel something at the back of my mouth, but there isn't much pain. I've had tonsillitis since I was a kid, but this feels different. Plus, there's some pain in my ear. Could this be some kind of infection?

I've had these white pimples or spots on the back wall of my throat for a week now, and there's no pain. Initially, I felt a mild tingling when eating dry or condensed foods, but that's gone awayjust the spots remain. I saw an ENT and was prescribed Sompraz L, Sucrale O, and montelukast. It's been a week of medication, and the spots are still there without any pain. I don't smoke or drink alcohol. Should I get any additional tests, or will this clear up on its own? How many more days should I wait? I've attached a photo for reference.
