I've been noticing my eyebrow hairs falling out a lot lately. Every time I touch my eyebrow, a couple of hairs come out. Just yesterday, I noticed a small bald spot on my right eyebrow. What could be causing this, and should I be concerned?

Small bald spot on eyebrow with hairs falling out could be due to a condition called alopecia areata. This is an autoimmune condition where the immune system mistakenly attacks the hair follicles, leading to hair loss. In this case, I would recommend using Minoxidil solution 5% twice daily on the affected area to promote hair growth. Additionally, you can use a topical corticosteroid cream like Clobetasol propionate 0.05% once daily to reduce inflammation and encourage hair regrowth. If the condition persists, it is important to consult a dermatologist for further evaluation and management.

I'm curious if there are any side effects of using Glyaha Koj lotion. A dermatologist recommended it to me for removing a tan and it's been really effective for me, so I keep using it when I get tanned. Could there be any negative effects from using this lotion?
Glyaha Koj lotion, containing kojic acid, is generally considered safe for skin brightening and tan removal, but long-term or excessive use may lead to side effects like skin irritation, redness, itching, or dryness, and rare cases of allergic contact dermatitis have been reported, so continue using it with caution and discontinue if you experience any adverse reactions.

Is there any way to fix the side effects of Betnovate cream? I've been using it on my face for about 6 months and had no idea it was such a strong steroid cream. It's been two years and the side effects are still bothering me. I can't even look at myself in the mirror because my face is completely red and covered with acne up to my neck. I tried IPL last winter, but it didn't make any difference. My face is also super dry now. I'm considering PRP, but I'm not sure if it's the right way to go. Any advice?
The prolonged use of Betnovate cream, a potent topical corticosteroid, can lead to severe side effects like redness, acne, dryness, and skin atrophy; to address these issues, consider consulting a dermatologist for personalized guidance, and potential treatments may include: topical treatments like retinoids, antibiotics, or hydroquinone; laser therapy or intense pulsed light (IPL) to reduce redness and promote collagen production; platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, which may help stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture; and sun protection, moisturizers, and gentle skincare routines to manage dryness and sensitivity
