I've been really worried about my dad's heavy cough. It's been going on for a while, and whoever sleeps in the same room as him can't get a good night's sleep. We've seen so many doctors, and he's tried all sorts of medicines. Some think it's bronchitis or asthma, while others have just prescribed general cough medicine. Despite trying everything, including rotahealermedicines, nothing seems to work. Could you please suggest what might be wrong or recommend something that could finally help with his cough?

Based on the information provided, it seems like your father's cough is persistent and impacting his quality of life. Since he has already tried various medications without much improvement, I would recommend trying a combination of Montelukast (brand name Singulair) 10mg once daily in the evening and FluticasoneSalmeterol (brand name Advair) inhaler 25050mcg two puffs twice daily. These medications can help manage symptoms of asthma-related cough and provide relief. Additionally, steam inhalation and staying hydrated can also help alleviate cough symptoms. It's important to follow up with a healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.

I've been dealing with COPD and I'm also having this annoying post-nasal drip with a nonstop runny nose whenever I eat. At night, my throat gets all clogged up with phlegm, which makes it hard to sleep. I'm taking Glevo 500 daily and nebulizing with Duolin and Budecort every morning, plus just Duolin again at night. Montair LC every other day seems to help a bit. Do you think a nose drop like ipratropium bromide could help with these issues, or is there something else you'd recommend? The throat and nasal issues, along with slight wheezing or a rattling sound sometimes, are really bothering me. Any advice?

I'm 21 and have been dealing with wheezing for the past 5 months. I've seen several doctors and they all mention it's due to mucus build-up. They prescribed me some tablets, and I've completed the course, but it's still not getting better. A few have also mentioned that I have a condition called pigeon chest, and that this could be why recovery is taking so long. I'm really tired of taking meds with no relief. What can I do to actually get better?

Physiotherapy opinion is advised. Also chest arthosis and bracing is advised to the patient.

I'm a 53-year-old man living in Delhi and every year during the humid months of July through September, I start getting these breathing problems. So far, I've been taking Montair LC every couple of days at night, and it helps. But sometimes if I forget, I end up using Asthaline inhaler when I get breathless, and then I take Montair LC, which usually makes things better. I've recently heard that Montair LC might have some side effects, and now I'm a bit worried about continuing with it. Should I just stick to using the Asthaline inhaler whenever I feel I need it, instead of taking Montair LC regularly?

if it is required then only take monteclc , otherwise you can use asthalin inhaler
