I've been struggling with forward bending for over 3 years due to my slightly forward L4 vertebra causing movement issues. A doctor recently recommended bone fusion surgery, but I'd really prefer exploring non-surgical options first. What alternative treatments could help improve my condition without going under the knife?

Before resorting to spinal fusion, several non-surgical approaches can address forward bending due to spinal instability, including physical therapy, bracing, injections, and potentially other advanced non-fusion stabilization methods. These options can help manage pain, improve mobility, and potentially stabilize the spine without surgery.

View allMy shoulder keeps dislocating over and over and I'm not sure what to do about it. Should I consider surgery or are there other treatments that might help stop this from happening? It's getting really frustrating and painful.
If your shoulder keeps dislocating, you should consult with a doctor or orthopedic surgeon to discuss treatment options, which may include surgery. Non-surgical treatments, such as physical therapy and immobilization, are often tried first, but surgery may be necessary for recurrent dislocations or if the soft tissues stabilizing the shoulder are severely damaged

It's been 80 days since my tibia surgery where they used plates and nails for both legs. The swelling has gone down but I'm still unsure can I start walking now or do I need to wait longer? I'm worried about putting weight on them too soon.
You should walk now. Continue active non weight bearing mobilisation of knee, ankle and hip. Start with partial weight bearing with walker. Then progress to full weight bearing. Pain relief will be important. Please get the latest xray to see bony union which will decide the weight bearing on the limbs
