I've been told that my X-ray shows bilateral prominent hila with prominent bronchovascular markings in both of my lung fields. Is this something I should be worried about? What does it mean for my health? I've also been experiencing shortness of breath for the past 10 days. Could this be related? How can I address these issues?

For a 2-year-old child, the recommended daily intake of Vitamin D3 is 600-800 IU (International Units) per day.

Giving 400 IUmL (1 mLday) is within the safe range.

However, it's essential to monitor your child's Vitamin D levels and adjust the dosage accordingly. Excessive Vitamin D intake can lead to toxicity, causing symptoms like:

  1. Nausea and vomiting
  2. Abdominal pain
  3. Headache
  4. Fatigue
  5. Weakness

To ensure safety:

  1. Consult your pediatrician: Before giving your child any supplements, consult with your pediatrician to determine the best course of action.
  2. Monitor Vitamin D levels: Regularly check your child's Vitamin D levels to avoid over-supplementation.
  3. Follow the recommended dosage: Adhere to the recommended dosage, and avoid exceeding it.

I've been experiencing some random chest pain since I got over COVID back in May. It usually hits around the ribs or near my heart. I've had an ECG and echo, and even a stress echo, and everything came back fine. But now, with the colder weather, I feel this mild pain in my chest when I cough or do om pranayam, mainly in the heart area. My cardiologist thinks it's muscular, but I'm wondering if it could be something lung-related instead. Are there any tests I should consider to figure out if it's a lung issue or really just muscular?

I'm trying to figure out if I might have asthma. In the mornings, my peak flow is around 450, but it jumps to 600 after I take two puffs of duolin. The chest X-ray and CT scan look normal, but the PFT results show early small airway obstruction with a PEF of 2575 or PEFR pred at 70. They also indicated mild obstruction with an FEV1FVC of 95 and FVC pred at 80. What does all this mean? I'm really not sure and could use some guidance.

Spirometry and pulmonary function tests are advised to the patient.

I'm really worried about my mom. She's 49 and dealing with a thyroid problem, but now she's tested positive for Covid. Her HR CT report seems fine, and she's mainly experiencing weakness and a bit of a dry cough. Her oxygen levels are usually between 93 to 98 during the day, but at night while she's sleeping, her spo2 level drops quickly to around 80-85, which is pretty alarming. We end up waking her up, and then her spo2 levels return to normal. Could this be because of Covid? Should I be worried? What should we do if this happens again?
