I've been using Betnovate N for a while, and I just stopped about four days ago. I'm noticing some side effects and it's really concerning me. I'm trying to figure out what the right medication would be to help improve my skin condition now. Could you give me some advice on this?

It's important to gradually taper off the use of Betnovate to avoid withdrawal effects. To improve your skin condition and manage any side effects, you can consider using a mild topical corticosteroid like Hydrocortisone cream along with a moisturizer like Cetaphil. Additionally, you can use an emollient like E45 cream to help repair the skin barrier. Make sure to follow the recommended dosage and application instructions for each medication.

View allI stopped using the 10% Minoxidil for a couple of months because of some personal reasons. I'm thinking about starting it again, but I'm a bit concerned if this break will affect how well it works. Could you let me know what to expect?
Hi Prasad, if you have stopped applying 10% Minoxidil for two months and want to start using it again, there may be a temporary decrease in effectiveness initially. However, with consistent and continued use, you should start to see results again. Remember to apply 10% Minoxidil twice daily as directed for optimal results.

I'm using minoxidil to help with hair growth and I've been at it for about a month now under my doctor's guidance. But I've noticed that I'm getting flaky white dandruff on my scalp from using it regularly. Is it normal to get dandruff when using minoxidil? Also, what would be the best way to handle it? I've heard that washing with anti-dandruff shampoo every day might not be great for my hair. What do you suggest?

Why is my hair so dry and brittle?
There are many causes such as nutritional deficiencies, over exposure to sun, excessive hair wash, usage of chlorinated water and frequent usage of harsh hair products/ styling tools.
