I've been using Virovir 500 for treating my Herpes and it's helped a lot with the infection, but I still have this annoying itching above my left ear and behind my ears. Someone mentioned Sofinox might be a good solution, but I'm a bit worried. Is it safe to use it around the hair without worrying about any side effects, like hair fall? Would appreciate some guidance.

Sofinox cream contains Miconazole which is an antifungal medication. It is safe to apply around the hairs above the ear for itching. Make sure to apply a thin layer and gently massage it into the skin. There should be no significant side effects when used as directed. It is unlikely to cause hair fall later on. Apply it twice a day for 1-2 weeks for best results.

I've been using Cosmelite cream for about a month now, as my dermatologist recommended it. But I've noticed that once I stop using it, my skin turns very dark. I'm worried and a bit confused. Is there a chance that this cream could cause skin cancer?

The risk of skin cancer from Cosmelite cream is considered low when used as prescribed by a doctor for a short duration.

I'm dealing with a fungus issue near my vaginal area that's been going on for about three months now. I've been taking medication as prescribed by my doctor, but the problem starts all over again and spreads if I stop taking them. I'm really concerned and not sure what to do next. Any advice?

Indicates a recurring fungal infection. To treat this effectively, I recommend using an antifungal cream like Clotrimazole (brand name Lotrimin) twice daily for at least 2 weeks. Additionally, an oral antifungal medication like Fluconazole (brand name Diflucan) may be prescribed by your doctor for systemic treatment. It is important to maintain good hygiene, wear loose cotton underwear, and avoid tight clothing to prevent further spread of the infection.
