I've got a bruise with a yellow center on my left leg, and it's kind of weird because it was itchy at first and then got a little swollen before turning more yellow in the middle. I'm pretty sure I didn't bump into anything. Could an insect have bitten me even though I don't see any bite or puncture marks? It's painful when I press on it, and I'm getting worried it might be some kind of infection. What do you think this could be?

You may have a bruise with some inflammation and possible infection. To help with the pain and inflammation, you can take ibuprofen 400mg every 6 hours as needed. Additionally, you can apply a topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin on the affected area twice a day. Make sure to keep the area clean and avoid scratching it. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it's best to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and treatment.

I'm really curious and a bit worried about this condition called idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis. Can it actually spread to other parts of the body? What are the treatment options available for dealing with it?
