I just had my medical examination for a visa today and they had to take my X-ray 3 or 4 times because it wasn't coming out clear. Then they put this round iron thing with white tape on my nipple. Could this cause any problems or show up as some kind of opacity on the X-ray? I'm a bit confused about what this means.

I've had two CT scans and four chest X-rays in just over a month. I'm really worried about whether this could be harmful. Could having that many scans increase my risk of cancer?
