I've got this rough patch of skin on my forearm. It kinda looks like a hickey but it doesn't itch or hurt. It's been there for about a month. Should I be worried about it, or is it something I can just ignore? What could this be?

If the inflammation is related to seborrheic dermatitis or dandruff, a medicated shampoo with ketoconazole or salicylic acid may help reduce inflammation. For male pattern baldness, treatments like minoxidil (Rogaine) or finasteride (Propecia) can help slow down hair loss and promote regrowth. If its a condition like alopecia areata or psoriasis, your doctor may recommend topical steroids or immune-modulating creams.consult your demat
