I've had a blind spot in my left eye with flashes for two days now is there any type of surgery that can fix this or make it go away

Should you worry about flashes and floaters? Both are very common, especially in older people, and more often than not they are nothing to worry about. If they are bothersome, dark glasses have been found to minimise the presence of floaters and you can discuss options with your optometrist.
