I've had GERD for about a year now and every time I take medicine or antacids, I end up with loose motions. Is this normal? Should I consider surgery as an option or are there other ways to manage this?

I just bounced back from a stomach infection, but now it feels like this pain is sticking around. I've heard of normaxin tablets for this kind of issue. I've been having this pulsating feeling in my abdomen which causes me to bloat and have cramps. It's stressing me out a lot because I can't sleep with all these thoughts racing through my head. It's been three years, and even with all the tests and medicine, I'm still not better. Why isn't this going away?

I'm looking at these bilirubin levels I recently got. The total is 1.79, conjugated is 0.57, and unconjugated is 1.22. Should I be doing something about this? Is there anything I need to be concerned about?
