I'm 18 and have myopia with -2.25 and -1.75 power. I want to join NDA where the limit is -2.5. Can wearing glasses, taking vitamin A, eating healthy, and avoiding eye strain help reduce my myopia by just 0.25 or 1D? Or is there any other way to keep my power from increasing? I heard LASIK might make me unfit for NDA so what options do I have
my dear friend,-1.75 and -2.25 DS is already less than -2.50 ,so according to your claim of having myopia less than -2.50 is fulfilling your criteria.so no worries now.,go ahead and persue profession of your choice. but please make sure of the requirement standards of NDA. yes ,healthy diet is always helpful ,but you will have to keep using your glasses, otherwise your power would increase.

My father has been diagnosed with cataract and I'm confused about the best treatment option. There are so many choices with different prices SICS costs around 9000-12500rs, phaco ranges from 18000-35000rs, and MICS is around 44000rs. Which one would be the most effective and safe for him? I want to make sure he gets the right care without unnecessary expenses. Can you explain the differences between these treatments and recommend the best one?
