My 4-year-old has been having a squint occasionally, like 3-4 times a day but not constantly. Is surgery the only option or are there other treatments we can try since he's still so young? Really worried about putting him through surgery at this age. What would you recommend?

I have a power of 2.00 in both eyes with both cylindrical and spherical issues but I really don't like wearing glasses Is LASIK surgery a good option for someone with such low power or should I just stick to glasses
Yes, LASIK surgery can be a good option for your prescription, especially if you have stable vision and healthy corneas. It can correct both spherical and cylindrical errors effectively. However, a detailed pre-LASIK evaluation by an ophthalmologist is essential to ensure you're a suitable candidate.

my eye power is 5 in both eyes and I have hypermyopia in the left eye can I still get lasik surgery
It is possible to get LASIK surgery with a +5.00 diopter prescription for hyperopia (farsightedness) in one eye and a similar prescription in the other eye, but it depends on several factors, including corneal thickness and overall eye health. A consultation with an ophthalmologist is crucial to determine if you are a suitable candidate.
