I've had a mucocele for about a month now it keeps going away and coming back every week. It's a clear bump with no pain. I really don't want surgery are there other ways to get rid of it?

My friend has an underdeveloped left maxilla and mandible causing a deviated smile and nose. He's considering orthognathic surgery but his parents are really anxious about it now they're both asking me to help convince the other.
