I've had a perforated eardrum for about a year now and it's causing hearing loss. One doctor recommended surgery but I'm wondering if it'll be open surgery or if they can do it through the ear canal. How much does this surgery usually cost and is it painful or painless?

View allI've got this pimple or bump on my uvula, and it's really painful when I eat or drink. I'm not sure whether this is something that'll go away on its own or if I should get it checked out. What do you think?
It sounds like you may have a small irritation or infection on your uvula, which can cause discomfort while swallowing. While it might resolve on its own, if the pain persists, worsens, or you notice other symptoms, it's a good idea to see a doctor for further evaluation and treatment.

I've noticed a small lump on the right side, right in the middle of my neck. It's kind of concerning because it hurts when I touch it, and I can only really feel it when I press the area. I'm trying to figure out what could be causing this and what I should do about it. Any advice?

I'm dealing with some hardened ear wax buildup, and when my doctor tried to take it out last time, it was really painful. The doctor suggested using anesthesia for the removal, but I'm worried about the cost of the procedure. Is there a more affordable alternative that I could consider?
