I've had squint eyes since birth and I'm 27 now. I've learned to live with it, but if there's a way to fix it without surgery, I'd love to know more. Are there any non-surgical treatments or exercises that could help correct squint eyes?

Minor squint may be improved with vision therapy in children, but adult cases often need surgery for cosmetic correction.

View allI went to the eye hospital just to check my power for glasses since I don't wear any and never had my eyes checked before. The doctor recommended a scan and then said I need C3R surgery for both eyes within two months. They mentioned normal power is 500 and mine is 419, with anything under 300 being critical. I'm only 24 and just wanted to check my power now I'm worried about this surgery. Should I go ahead with it or get a second opinion?

I've been wearing specs with a power of 4 and I'm considering laser surgery to get rid of them. Is it safe for my eye power? What's the recovery like and are there any side effects I should know about?
Yes, it's generally safe to undergo laser eye surgery with a prescription of 4.00, and it's considered a good candidate for LASIK. The procedure aims to correct refractive errors, reducing or eliminating the need for glasses or contact lenses. Recovery is usually quick, with most patients regaining vision within a few days. While generally safe, there are potential side effects to be aware of.
