I've just gotten over typhoid fever, but I'm really struggling because my appetite hasn't come back at all. I'm kind of worried and not sure what steps I should take to get my hunger back. I'm only able to handle a liquid diet right now. Any advice on what I could do or how long it might take to start feeling hungry again?

give it time: Recovery from typhoid fever can take a few weeks, and regaining appetite may take a bit longer. Start slow: Gradually increase the complexity and quantity of your diet as your body adjusts. Stay hydrated and focus on easily digestible foods for the time being.

I'm a bit worried because I took NorfloxTZ for my loose motions for 5 days, and on the 5th day, the problem started again. I stopped taking Norflox, but I'm still having loose stools, like two or three times a day. Do you think it's okay to try Metronidazole for this, or is there something else I should do?

Your loose motions have not completely resolved. You can try taking Metronidazole along with a probiotic to help with the loose stools. Make sure to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new medication. Additionally, continue to stay hydrated and follow a bland diet to help with your symptoms.

What foods will make you poop right away?

There is no one particular miraculous food that will make you defecate immediately. You need to consume high fiber foods such as Pears, strawberries, apple, oat meal, brown rice, banana, broccoli, green leafy vegetables (kale, spinach), avocado, carrots, tomato, beans and sweet potato.and plenty of fluids to have regular normal stools.

I accidentally swallowed a small piece of plastic from an oregano sachet while I was eating pizza a couple of days ago. I'm not having any trouble breathing or swallowing, and my bowel movements seem normal. But I've been experiencing some acidity, like burps, a feeling of fullness in my throat after eating, and a bit of soreness. Should I consider getting an endoscopy, or is this something that might resolve on its own?

At this stage, its likely that you dont need an endoscopy. However, if symptoms persist or worsen, it would be best to consult with your doctor for further evaluation.
