I've noticed the right side of my tonsil is swollen, but there's no actual pain. It's just this little discomfort that's bugging me around that area. Is there any medication I could take for this?

my doctor said I have turbinate hypertrophy and I'm really worried about surgery can it be managed with just saline rinses, antihistamines, or steam? or is surgery the only way to fix this for good?
