I've recently been diagnosed with sarcoidosis and I'm feeling really worried about it. The doctors found mediastinal and hilar lymphadenopathy and both my Mtb genexpert and afb staining came back negative. I'm experiencing symptoms like weight loss, fever, a persistent cough, and these red spots on my legs. My doctor mentioned that there's no cure for sarcoidosis and I'm just really concerned about what this means for my future. Is there any hope for living a full life after a sarcoidosis diagnosis? What's the life expectancy like for someone in my situation?

I've been experiencing a need to take long breaths frequently, mostly during the night after dinner, but sometimes in the morning and during the day too. It's not constant, but it has happened about 23 times over the last year and lasts for about 10 to 15 days before going away. I'm really concerned about this. I've been dealing with some gastric reflux issues and I've noticed this weird pattern where after a few minutes of breathing normally, I find myself needing to take a deep breath or I start yawning, but then I can't really complete the yawn. It's like it's stuck or something. Sometimes my nostrils also feel like they get blocked and I'm wondering if all these could be connected somehow? I've been using inhalers for my breathing problems, but I'm starting to feel like they might not be enough on their own. Could my weight be playing a role in this too?
