I've recently noticed a lump above my Adam's apple, I've had it for about two weeks now. It feels a bit uncomfortable when I swallow. What could this be, and should I be concerned?

I've been having nose problems for the past couple of months. I've tried homeopathic medicine and septillin, but nothing seems to be working. It's really hard to breathe because my nose gets blocked, and there's this thick yellow discharge. What could be going on, and what should I do to get some relief?

Based on your symptoms of difficulty in breathing, blocked nose, and yellow thick discharge, it seems like you may be suffering from a sinus infection. I recommend you try taking an antibiotic like Amoxicillin (500mg, three times a day) along with a decongestant like Sudafed (30mg, every 4-6 hours) to help relieve your symptoms. Additionally, using a saline nasal spray regularly can also help with nasal congestion. Make sure to stay hydrated and get plenty of rest. If your symptoms persist or worsen, please follow up with a healthcare provider for further evaluation.

I've had this throat infection for over a month now, and even after visiting an ENT and being on antibiotics for a week, it feels like things aren't improving. There's still some granulation in my posterior pharyngeal area, and I'm not seeing any real change there. I stopped smoking a couple of months ago, which I thought might help. Should I keep trying home remedies? I'm getting a sore throat every morning but no other symptoms. Any advice on what I should do next?

I've been dealing with a sore throat for the past two days. I tried taking Monteklc, but it doesn't seem to be helping at all. Do you have any idea why it might not be working and what else I could try for relief?

Since Montek-LC (a combination of levocetirizine and montelukast) is primarily an antihistamine and anti-asthmatic medication, its effectiveness for throat pain may be limited; consider consulting a doctor for further evaluation and alternative treatments, such as antibiotics if bacterial infection is suspected, or pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen to help alleviate throat pain.
