My 5-month-old baby has been having loose motions for the past 23 days. We've been giving her Enterogermina, Neopeptine, and Rantop, but she's still experiencing it about 23 times a day. I'm really worried and was wondering if you have any suggestions on what we could do to help her get better quickly.

View allI'm really worried because my 4-year-old has been having loose motions. What syrup can I give him to help with this?
A child of 4 years old suffering from loose motions can be given syrup containing Racecadotril. The recommended dosage for Racecadotril syrup in children is 1.5 mg per kg of body weight per dose, to be taken 3 times a day. It is important to consult with a pediatrician for proper evaluation and guidance.

I'm really worried because my 5-month-old son accidentally got a small cut on his finger while I was trimming his nails. There were just a couple of drops of blood, and I immediately applied Dettol to the area. But now I'm concerned about the possibility of tetanus. Do you think there's a risk? Should I get him a shot just to be safe?
Since the wound was minor with only a few drops of blood and you applied Dettol, the risk of tetanus infection is low; however, as a precautionary measure, consult your pediatrician, who may recommend a tetanus toxoid injection if your child hasn't received the first three doses of the DTaP vaccine or if the wound is deep or dirty.
