My 5-year-old daughter has adenoid hypertrophy measuring 2.4x2.2 cm and keeps getting frequent colds and coughs. The doctor recommended surgery but I'm worried can this be treated with medicines instead? I'd like to avoid surgery if possible, what are our options?

View allI've had a perforated eardrum for about a year now and it's causing hearing loss. One doctor recommended surgery but I'm wondering if it'll be open surgery or if they can do it through the ear canal. How much does this surgery usually cost and is it painful or painless?
COST depends on dr and hospital and city

Can you help me figure out the right amount of Betadine to use for gargling? I already tried with a glass of water and mixed in 15ml, but it seemed too diluted. So, I added another 10-15ml to the warm water. Is that too much, or am I doing it right?
One cup of betadine (with the cup given with it) in half glass of water
