My 6-year-old keeps having recurring ear and nose issues with enlarged adenoids. The doctor recommended surgery, but their cold allergies and bronchitis keep getting worse. Should we go ahead with the surgery or try other treatments first?

For recurrent adenoid issues, surgery may be advised if breathing or sleep is severely affected. However, allergy management and medications can be tried before opting for surgery.
