My brother has had ongoing irritation around his anus since childhood due to a tear from rape. The anus wall never fully closed can surgery help restore it to its original shape? What are his options for relief?

I've noticed this small bump under the skin near my anus recently. It's about the size of a pea and doesn't really seem discolored. I started feeling it a couple of days ago because it gets uncomfortable when I tighten around there. It doesn't hurt, just kind of feels off. I even took a picture just in case, but I'm not sure what it is. Also, no bloody stool or anything like that. Could you help me figure out what's going on?

A small, pea-sized bump near the anus can be a perianal hematoma, an anal skin tag, or a small external hemorrhoid, but it's essential to consult a surgeon

I recently had my fistula in ano heal about 15 days ago, but now there's a lump or bump inside my anus that hurts when I press hard. An ayurvedic doctor mentioned it might be from a fissure in ano surgery I had 5 years ago. Could this lump be related to that old surgery? What could be causing this pain now?

fistulotomy is the treatment of choice

I'm having a tough time with this burning and itching around my anus, and there's even blood when I go to the bathroom. I noticed a small piece of tissue or something external there, and it's really painful when I pass stool. The discomfort lasts all day, making it hard to sit or walk. After seeing the doctor, they mentioned it looks minor and focused on easing my constipation with some ointment and syrup to soften the stool. That part's a bit better now, but the opening feels too small, and this external pile makes it difficult when I go to the bathroom. I dealt with piles about two years ago, and medication helped within a few weeksit hasn't been an issue until now. I'm really eager to find a permanent solution for this external issue. Any advice on the best approach to tackle this?

To help with the pain, itching, and burning, you can use Preparation H ointment to reduce inflammation and discomfort. For permanent relief, you may need to consider a surgical procedure called hemorrhoidectomy to remove the external pile. In the meantime, continue using the ointment as directed and maintain soft stools with the syrup provided by your doctor. If the symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor for further evaluation and management.
