My dad has had type 2 diabetes for 15 years since he was 45 and also had bypass surgery. He's been on insulin all this time. I came across BGR34 tablets, which claim to be approved by the Indian government and developed by CSIR and NBRI labs. Is this medicine legit? Has it been proven to control blood sugar levels effectively? And is it safe for someone like my dad who's already on insulin?

Could you tell me how often I should take the Calcirol sachet for Vitamin D? Is it supposed to be once a week? And for how long should I continue before stopping or taking a break? I'm wondering if there's a specific cycle or schedule I should follow.

It depends on how much is your vitamin d3 levels. Mostly we prescribe or i prescribe it to be taken once a week for 12 weeks. You could even use D3 must 60k tablets once a week for 12 weeks if you dont like the granules. Also get adequate sunlight daily. This is also important.
