My dad's been dealing with TB and has been on medication for the last 10 days. His fever's still hanging around, fluctuating between 99 and 101. I'm just wondering when we might see that fever start to go down. Any insights?

View allI'm dealing with some psychological issues like anxiety and depression for the past 5 years, but I finally managed to overcome them about a year ago. Recently, though, I've been having breathlessness, and my doctor prescribed Medrol 4 mg to take every morning at 10 a.m. However, after taking it, I feel really uncomfortable, tired, and unsatisfied. I'm worried if Medrol is harmful to me, should I continue using it, or maybe stop? What other options are there for addressing my breathing issues?
It's understandable that you're feeling uncomfortable with Medrol (a corticosteroid). While it can help with inflammation, long-term use may cause side effects like tiredness and mood changes. Its important to discuss your concerns with your doctor, as they may suggest alternative treatments or adjust your medication. For your breathing issues, further evaluation might be needed to identify the cause, and your doctor can guide you on the best next steps.

I've been dealing with asthma and currently, Im using inhaled corticosteroids for it. I dont have any other health issues going on, so I'm wondering if it's safe for me to get the Covishield vaccine. Is there anything I should be worried about with the combination of the vaccine and my asthma treatment?

I'm experiencing chest pain and discomfort for the past two days, along with pain in my throat and neck that's getting worse. The pain is all around my rib cage and near my clavicle, and it feels like something is pressing on my chest. I've also had a cough that was quite bad yesterday, but it's a bit better today. The cough is dry, but in the mornings I'm coughing up white sputum and have been for quite a while. I haven't had a fever or lost my appetite. Could this be TB or something else?
