I've been dealing with a wet cough for the last three years, but I haven't noticed any other symptoms like fever, unexpected weight loss, or feeling sick generally. I've been noticing that ever since 2018, whenever I have my first spit in the morning, there's been a little blood in it. It's been happening for a couple of years now. Sometimes it's just a tiny amount and other times a bit more. I went for a full health check-up in October 2019, and my chest X-ray came back normal, so now I'm wondering, could this be a sign of something serious?

I've been having this really intense pain on the upper right side of my chest when I wake up in the morning, and it's got me a bit worried. I'm not sure if it's my lung or something else, but it's bad enough that I can't really move until later in the day when it seems to get a bit better. Could this be something serious or just how I'm sleeping? Any advice on what I can do to stop it from happening?
