My dad's ultrasound shows his prostate is enlarged at 56x51x50 mm with a volume of 77.7 cc. The doctor suggested surgery, but I'm wondering if medication could work instead is the size too big for meds to help?

Large size prostate causes urinary symptoms but to decide for the surgery patients symptoms are more important then the size alone. So if he is suffering more surgery may help

I've been having some recurring issues after sexual activity, where I notice dryness and tears on my penis. There are also these small red dots on the head of my penis, but they don't seem too noticeable. When I searched online, it suggested it might be related to a yeast or fungal infection. I'm not really sure what to make of it, though. Could you give me some advice or thoughts on what might be going on?

Your symptoms, such as recurring dryness, tears, and small red dots on the penis head, could be indicative of several conditions, including: 1. Yeast or fungal infections: As you've suspected, Candida or other fungal infections can cause these symptoms. 2. Balanitis: An inflammation of the glans penis, often caused by poor hygiene, fungal or bacterial infections, or allergies. To determine the cause and receive proper treatment, consult a healthcare professional, such as a urologist or a dermatologist. They can: 1. Conduct a physical examination. 2. Take a thorough medical history. 3. Perform diagnostic tests (e.g., swabs, blood tests). 4. Provide personalized guidance and treatment.

My brother has partial phimosis and we're considering surgery but I was wondering if there's a cream or tablet that could help loosen the skin so he can retract it fully without needing an operation

Topical steroids work by reducing the inflammation and loosening the foreskin. This makes it easier to retract the foreskin without experiencing severe pain or discomfort. Just apply the cream or ointment in the area around the head of the penis twice or thrice a day
