My daughter is 5 years old and she's been having seizures since she was nine months old. She's currently taking Valproin, Cloba, and Topamax, but the seizures still happen when she has a fever. I'm really worried and not sure what more we can do. Could you help us understand what's going on and what steps we might take next?

View allI've been feeling really weird lately with this cold sensation inside the left side of my head. It's almost like there's cold liquid in there, and it's giving me a tingling feeling in my face. It's strange, right? I've also noticed that I get really sleepy when this happens, and sometimes I experience these intense hot flashes. Is there something I should be worried about? What could this possibly be?
You may be experiencing symptoms of a migraine headache. The cold feeling inside your head, tingling in your face, and hot flashes are common symptoms of migraines. To help alleviate these symptoms, you can try taking Sumatriptan (brand name: Imitrex). Additionally, you can take Acetaminophen (brand name: Tylenol) at a dosage of 500-1000mg for pain relief. Make sure to rest in a quiet, dark room and stay hydrated. If these symptoms persist or worsen, please follow up with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.
