My doctor says I need tonsil surgery but I'm really hesitant because I've heard there can be long-term side effects Are there any other treatment options I could try instead of going straight to surgery

This condition may require clinical evaluation to determine the exact cause and treatment. Some cases can be managed conservatively, while others may need surgical intervention depending on size, symptoms, and severity. Regular follow-up is important to monitor progress.

View allI'm really worried about my ear. A couple of days ago, while using a q-tip, the bud came off in my right ear. I'm 13 and after trying to flush it out with water, it didnt work and wasn't too painful, but after a visit to the local clinic, the doctor couldnt remove it because the pain was too much. We tried flushing it again but my ear started to bleed. Now I'm barely hearing from my right ear and it's getting worse. What should I do?
It sounds like you may have some irritation or injury in your right ear from the q-tip incident. To help with the pain and potential infection, you can use antibiotic ear drops like Neomycin-Polymyxin B-Hydrocortisone drops. It's important to keep the ear dry and avoid inserting anything into it. If the pain and bleeding persist, you should follow up with an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist for further evaluation and treatment.

I've noticed a swollen area in my throat, and I recently had an FNAC test, which showed something called reactive lymphoid. I used to have breast cancer, but I'm doing well now. Could you explain what reactive lymphoid means and what kind of treatment I might need? I'm really worried about what this could mean, especially considering my history with cancer.
That could be secondaries of your breast cancer visit oncologist for evaluation and appropriate treatment.
